About Our Dentist
J. David Caldwell, D.D.S.
Dr. J. David Caldwell is a 1979 graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry. Prior to that, he attended Georgia Tech and MTSU. Though he is proud of his alma maters, he is a passionate Auburn fan, as all three of his children attended there. War Eagle! Dr. Caldwell has practiced family dentistry in Bartlett since 1981 and enjoys practicing all phases of cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Memphis Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society and is a volunteer at the Church Health Center.
Dr. Caldwell and his wife are both active tennis players, and are members of Independent Presbyterian Church, where he currently serves as an elder.
Joseph E. Ruder II, D.D.S.
Dr. Joseph E. Ruder II received his B.A. in Biology from the University of Mississippi in 1991. After obtaining his dental degree from the University of Tennessee and graduating with top honors, Dr. Ruder completed an Internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University. Dr. Ruder does not limit his practice to this specialty. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Memphis Dental Society, the Dean Honorary Odontological Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society and is a volunteer at the Church Health Center.
Dr. Ruder is highly skilled in many disciplines of dentistry including cosmetic, restorative, crown and bridge, root canal therapy, extractions (including the removal of wisdom teeth), and placing and restoring implants. Dr. Ruder's passion for dentistry and serving others enables him not only to take care of the dental needs of his patients, but also to develop lifetime relationships with them. Dr. Ruder enjoys running marathons and spending time with his family and friends. He completed his first marathon in October of 2004 (Chicago Marathon). Dr. Ruder and his wife, Michelle, have three sons and are active members at North Oxford Baptist Church.
Dr. Robert V. Carimi, Jr. joined our practice September 1, 2009. Dr. Carimi received his B.S. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Mississippi State University in 2003. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, earning an award for excellence in Prosthodontics from the American College of Prosthodontics. After obtaining his D.D.S. degree, Dr. Carimi completed a General Residency at the Veteran's Affairs Hospital in Memphis. Dr. Carimi is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, and Memphis Dental Society. Dr. Carimi enjoys many aspects of dentistry, including implants, extractions, root canal therapy, crown and bridge, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Carimi, a native Memphian, enjoys working out and spending time with his wife, Brittney, and their twin daughters. The Carimi's are huge fans of Mississippi State and are active members of St. Louis Catholic Church.
Dr. Lucy H. Digmon received her B.S. in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University in 2004. She received her D.M.D. degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry with honors and an award for Excellence in Orofacial Pain Management. Dr. Digmon's research experience includes studying the introduction of new bone cells from other tissue. Dr. Digmon enjoys a variety of aspects of dentistry, including restorative, cosmetic, oral surgery, and pediatric dental care.
Dr. Digmon is originally from Jackson and has moved back to Tennessee, with her husband, from Birmingham, Alabama. They attend Christ United Methodist Church, and since moving to Memphis, they have become parents to a beautiful baby girl. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Digmon enjoys cooking, dancing, and spending time with her family.

HYGIENISTS
Mary graduated from the University of Tennessee at Memphis, with a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2000. She has been working
with Bartlett Dental Associates, PLC since July of 2000.
Beth graduated in May 2004 from the University of Tennessee at Memphis and started working with Bartlett Dental Associates in August 2004. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Kristie graduated from the University of Tennessee in May 2007 and started working at Bartlett Dental Associates in August 2007. She is actively involved with her church, Ridgeway Baptist, where her husband serves as the Minister of Students. Kristie loves scrapbooking, cooking, and camping, but she especially loves spending time with her new little boy, Griffin Joseph.
Julie graduated from the University of Tennessee at Memphis in May 2008 and started working at Bartlett Dental Associates in July 2008. Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys fishing and swimming.
Rachel graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in May 2008. She and her husband are members of Faith Baptist Church in Bartlett. They have an active Labrador Retriever, "Halle." She feels extremely blessed to have such loving and supportive family and friends!
Carole is our Hygiene Coordinator who joined our practice in 2005. She has 3 children, one precious grandson who is a patient at St. Jude, and Carole is a member of First Evangelical Church. Her interests include her family, singing in the choir, ballroom dancing (especially West Coast Swing), playing guitar, cycling, writing, reading, horseback riding, her dogs and cockatiel, gardening, home projects, and quilting.
FRONT OFFICE PERSONNEL
Barbara and her husband John moved to Memphis in 1989 when he retired from the Army. She has been working at Bartlett Dental Associates since that time. Barbara is our office manager. She has two children, four grandsons, and a granddaughter. She is a member of Kirby Woods Baptist Church and enjoys teaching in the children's Sunday School Ministry. She also enjoys going to Charleston, South Carolina, whenever she gets the chance to visit grandchildren and the beach!!!
Wanda works at the front desk as a receptionist and has been with Bartlett Dental Associates since 1996. She has 3 beautiful daughters and two wonderful grandsons, Ethan and Kellen. Her husband works at the Med. She is a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and enjoys working in the make-up department for The Singing Christmas Tree and The Memphis Passion Play. Her other interests include reading, genealogy research, and traveling anywhere.
Connie is our Utility Coordinator. She has been with our office since 1997. She a member of Bartlett Baptist Church. She has two grandsons and a very special gentleman that fill her social calendar on weekends. Connie's favorite pastime is traveling, but she especially loves the beach and the mountains.
Tammy is our restorative scheduling coordinator. Tammy has been with our practice since 2002. She is married and has one beautiful son. She enjoys many outdoor activities and spending time with her family and friends.
Brandy is our Financial Coordinator. Brandy joined our team in October 2007. She earned her finance degree from the University of Arkansas (GO HOGS!) in 2003. She is married with two awesome boys, Noah and Caleb. She enjoys movies, sports, and spending time with her family.
ASSISTANTS
Mackenzie is a certified and registered dental assistant who has also obtained her certificate for sealant placement and coronal polishing. She graduated from Concorde in the fall of 2007. Mackenzie enjoys shopping, traveling, sports, being outdoors, and spending time with her wonderful family and friends.
Bree is a registered dental assistant. She graduated from Concorde in 1999 and started working at Bartlett Dental Associates in March 2008. She is a TRUE Memphis tiger fan! Bree has one wonderful son, Cole, and enjoys riding dirtbikes and playing Frisbee golf.
Natalie is a registered and certified dental assistant with coronal polishing and nitrous oxide monitoring certification. Along with her assisting responsibilites, she is also our marketing coordinator. She has been with Bartlett Dental Associates since September 2004. She is married with one stepson and is a member of Garland Baptist Church. She enjoys remodeling and decorating her home and spending time with her family and pets.
Tonya is a certified dental assistant who received her diploma from TTCM in 1994. Along with her assisting responsibilities, she also serves as the inventory and supplies coordinator and website manager. She is married to a wonderful man and together they have a beautiful child, who would be very disappointed if we didn't mention "Gi-Gi", their four-legged family member. Tonya enjoys spending time with her family and they like going to movies, visiting museums, and traveling.
